About The Site

The site is intended as a communal space for like minded value investors to congregate, share ideas as well as their own think pieces and criticisms; all regarding publicly traded securities. The site takes influence from Benjamin Graham, dubbed the “father of value investing”, and aims to spread awareness of some of the valuation techniques and considerations Graham suggested in his lectures, talks and publications.

We ask all site visitors, especially those considering becoming members, to be familiar with the words and philosophies of Benjamin Graham, including those outlined in both Security Analysis, and The Intelligent Investor. We would not suggest reading one without the other, and those that have only read one will very unlikely understand why the site and our pieces specifically cover or reference all of the matters we do. If you neither, have reviewed both of these works, nor agree with anything they outline, we would most likely say the site may be of minimal interest to yourself. Everyone is of course welcome however, as the aim is to at least spread awareness and get the general public thinking about certain elements of security valuations that these days seem to go under the radar, especially the qualitative factors to which there is no formulae for.

It may be in the best interest of anyone considering a member to view our ‘Free’ category to have a look at some of our old work to have a rough idea of the kind of work we do. Please be reminded that our pieces with this category are no longer visible to the general public, approximately 1 year after their publication date, after which their category will change and only our higher tier members will still have access to them.
